How to Get JEE Main 2019 Answer Key
In order to keep transparency in the JEE Main examination, National Testing Agency will release the answer key for the Paper 1 and Paper 2. The answer key will be released in two stages – Provisional answer key and final Answer key.
PROVISIONAL ANSWER KEY
The provisional answer will be released first and you will be given an option to challenge the responses (if any). This provisional answer key will not only help you in assessing your performance in the exam and in planning the future action accordingly, but it will also allow you to challenge the responses in case you are not satisfied.
To challenge the recorded responses, you can do so by filling the online application form and making a payment of Rs. 1000/ per question. The challenge of answer keys will be accepted online through the link available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in. You can pay the fee using your debit/credit card.
The fee once paid will not be refundable. Moreover, the decision of NTA on the challenges shall be final and you will not be allowed for any further communication.
FINAL ANSWER KEY
The final answer key will be released after considering the challenges raised by you. Once the final answer key gets released, you will not be allowed to raise objection any further. The final merit list/result will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key.
NOTE: The evaluation of multiple choice questions of Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be carried out using the final answer key.
As the JEE Main 2019 exam will be conducted twice (in January and April), the answer key will be released accordingly for both schedules. Considering the result declaration date of JEE Main 2019 (31st January for the first attempt and 30th April for the second attempt), you can expect the answer key for JEE Main 2019 to be released a couple of weeks before the date of result declaration.
