KEAM 2021 Exam – Important Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Application Process, and Result

The Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) examination is a state-level entrance exam. The exam is conducted by the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE). The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate-level engineering and pharmacy courses offered by colleges in Kerala. Medical admissions are done through the NEET scores and architecture admissions through NATA scores.

KEAM 2021 Eligibility

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility conditions before filling the KEAM 2021 application form:

Nationality

  • Citizens of India.
  • PIO/ OCI are also eligible.

Age Limits

The minimum age limit is 17 years as of 31st December 2021.

Educational Qualification

For Engineering Courses

Candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent level examination with minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science.

For B.Pharma. Courses

HSC or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics. Also, candidates must have secure 50% marks in Biology/ Mathematics separately.

KEAM 2021 Application Process

The application process for KEAM 2021 will be available from the first week of February 2021 at the official website – https://www.cee.kerala.gov.in/. Candidates are required to complete the application form carefully without any errors and submit the same before the last date for the examination.   • Visit the official website mentioned above.
  • Click on the KEAM 2021 link.
  • You will be redirected to the KEAM portal. Complete the registration process.
  • Get the login details and login-in to complete the application form.
  • Enter all the details carefully, upload scanned images of photograph and signature.
  • Make fee payment to complete the application process.
  • Take a print of the submitted application form.

Application Fee

The application fee for the KEAM exam can be submitted online or offline using e-challan. The category-wise fee details are as under:

Note: Candidates belonging to the ST category are exempted from paying the application fee. For those who choose Dubai as their centre for examination, the examination fee is as per the category they belong to plus Rs. 12000 in addition.

KEAM 2021 Exam Pattern

The KEAM exam pattern is a little different for admission to engineering and pharmacy courses. For engineering courses candidates have to appear for both Paper-1 and Paper-2 while for pharmacy programmes, they have to appear only for Paper-1. KEAM 2021 Syllabus

KEAM 2021 syllabus will comprise of topics from the class XII level syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. CEE will release the syllabus at the official website along with the official notification. You can download it from the KEAM candidates’ portal.

KEAM 2021 Admit Card

KEAM 2021 admit card will be released through the official website and candidates will be able to download the same using their application number and password. The admit card will be tentatively made available in the second week of April 2021. It is a necessary document and is mandatory for appearing in the examination. Carry it along with you on the day of examination. You will not be allowed to appear for the examination without the KEAM 2021 admit card.

KEAM 2021 Result

KEAM 2021 result will be tentatively announced in the last week of May 2021. The result will be made available on the official website. And, candidates would be able to download the same using their respective application number and password. The rank cards are also uploaded to the official website after the result declaration.

KEAM 2021 Counselling

KEAM 2021 counselling commonly known as the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) will be done after the result declaration. The counselling process is conducted strictly on the basis of KEAM ranking. Candidates are required to keep a check at the official website for the counselling schedule. The counselling process is conducted online in three phases and a mop-up round. Candidates need to register and provide their preferences for the seat allotment process.
