IIT JEE Advanced 2018 Registration Dates, Fee, and Latest Changes

The IIT Kanpur is the exam organising authority for the IIT JEE 2018. Those students who want to get admission in the IITs or ISMs are required to appear in the IIT JEE Advanced. But only those students who qualify the IIT JEE Mains exam will be eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced 2018 exam.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development has introduced certain changes in the JEE Advanced 2018. Know about those changes and important exam dates.

Latest changes in the IIT JEE Advanced 2018 exam

  • The JEE Advanced 2018 exam will be conducted in online mode. In other words, it will be a completely computer-based test.
  • Top 2, 24,000 students of the IIT JEE Mains 2018 (Paper 1) will be eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced 2018 exam.
  • The examination fee for the JEE Advanced has been hiked due to the inclusion of the GST.

IIT JEE Advanced 2018: Registration

Students should get registered for the JEE Advanced 2018 exam before the last date of the registration. The registration for the JEE Advanced 2018 will begin from 2nd May 2018 to 7th May 2018. For registration, they should follow following steps –

  • The application form for the JEE Advanced 2018 can be availed online only.
  • Applicants can do registration only through the online mode. There is no other mode for registration.
  • After paying the application fee, students will be able to access the registration form.
  • They should fill all the specified columns of the registration form with valid details.
  • Thereafter, they should upload the scanned copies of their photograph and other requisite documents.
  • Students should take the print copy of the registration form for future use or reference.
  • It should be noted that students should fill the registration form correctly. As after the submission of the registration form, there is no opportunity for rectification of the error.

IIT JEE Advanced 2018: Registration Fee

  • Students can pay the registration fee either online or offline.
  • They can pay their registration fee online by using net-banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
  • They can pay their registration fee offline through the bank E- Challan mode.

Students can submit their registration form with the late registration fee Rs. 500.

Registration Fee for Examination Centres Abroad

All categories of candidates in Non- SAARC countries USD 300 + GST

Students can submit their registration form with the late registration fee of USD 80.
