SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination or SRMJEEE is conducted by the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology for providing admission to B.Tech Programmes offered by the institute. In order to appear for this exam, a candidate needs to meet certain eligibility criteria set up by the institute and also need to fill an online application form to register themselves to appear for the exam. The institute has postponed the 2020 SRMJEEE due to the COVID-19 situation. The new exam dates will be announced soon. The registration process is open. As per the official notice; “Dates of SRMJEEE (B.Tech.) along with the last date of receiving application will be announced shortly.” Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website for updates.

SRMJEEE Exam Eligibility for B.Tech Programmes (Duration: 4 Years)
Applications of candidates who don’t meet the eligibility requirement will be rejected. Thus, all candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully before filling the application form. Here are the eligibility details:
Resident Indians and Non-Resident Indians (NRI), PIO Holder or OCI Card Holders (Issued by Government of India) are considered eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG) program. However, candidates who are NRIs, PIO holders or OCI Cardholders (issued by Government of India) applying for SRMJEEE (UG) courses must apply under International student category only.
The candidates should have attained the age of 16+ as on 31st July of the year in which the class 12th board examination is held.
For all B.Tech Programmes:
- A candidate needs to score at least 60% Marks Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in class 12th examination from any state board, ISCE, CBSE, or NIOS. However, those who have passed both 10th and 12th level examinations from NIOS are not eligible. Please note that the aggregate marks may vary among different campuses.
- As per the latest 2020 notification, the minimum aggregate marks for Kattankulathur campus are 60% in PCM. However, for SRM Vadapalani, Ramapuram, and NCR, Delhi campuses, the minimum aggregate marks are 50% in PCM.
- Candidates who will be appearing for class 12th examination in 2020 or who are awaiting their result are also eligible to apply for the exam.
- International Baccalaureate (IB)with Diploma or A-level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Botany & Zoology as major subjects from any International schools within India are also eligible.
SRM Institute offers direct admission and scholarships to first rankers of all Central and State Boards in India and also to top 1000 rankers of IIT JEE, top rankers of each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sportspersons at National and International level.
Migrants from Kashmir are also considered eligible for relaxation in SRMJEEE eligibility for admission subject to eligibility requirements according to the University Grants Commission (UGC).
